New Poll on Obesity Shows Major Disparity between Parents and Experts

A new poll announces major disparity on how parents perceive their children's weight and experts' take on it. The percentage of parents seeing their kids as overweight is very low. Experts' take on child obesity is far greater and matter-of-fact.

The poll surveyed children ages 2 to 17 as seen through the eyes of their parents. The poll was administered by NPR,the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), and Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH).
