Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation Metes Quality of Life Grants


The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, the nonprofit legacy of actor Christopher Reeve and his wife, has awarded $500,000 in Quality of Life grants to 74 nonprofit groups nationwide.

The Quality of Life grants are specifically aimed at programs of nonprofits that improve the quality of life for individuals living with paralysis. The foundation is committed to treating spinal cord injury through funding research and providing grants.

    Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
