Boston University School of Medicine Radiologist Wins Gates Foundation Condom Challenge

As part of the Grand Challenges Explorations Programs, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation called on researchers to come up with a "next generation" of male condoms that would be easier to use and improve sexual pleasure.

A Boston University School of Medicine radiologist and his team garnered the $100,000 grant to develop a self-lubricating condom that would be more durable, more resilient, and make protected sex more pleasurable.
