Downtown Phoenix Housing Complex Provides Homeless Own Apartments

Chronically homeless people in Phoenix will get a chance to live in their own apartments, thanks to a newly refurbished housing complex downtown.

The would-be foreclosed apartment complex was salvaged by Maricopa County with federal stimulus funds in 2011. Arizona Housing Inc., a non-profit organization, runs the complex to give low-income and formerly homeless residents a place they can call their own.
