Study Finds Homeless Youths with Friends at Lower Risk for STDs

A new study finds that young homeless people who have same-sex friends and acquaintances with stable housing are at lower risk for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

Findings also reveal that males were prone to have same-sex friends and to know people with stable housing compared to females. The study appears in the recently published online Journal of Adolescent Health.
