Community-Based Weight Loss Intervention Produces Greater Weight Loss than Self-Help Approach

An Article in Press in The American Journal of Medicine documents that overweight and obese adults who have participated in a community-based weight loss intervention, specifically Weight Watchers, lost considerably more weight compared to those who tried to lose weight on their own.

The study was funded by Weight Watchers International, Inc. a leading global-operating provider of weight management services.
