Musical Workshops to Help Homeless

One of the new ways to tackle homelessness is through musical workshops. The Intersections, a multi-cultural, multi-faith advocacy group, recently held a workshop in New York City hosted by the Coalition for the Homeless.

The workshop's goal is "finding peace of mind through music" using music to help the homeless. The workshop also addresses a deeper, but lesser-known factor of homeless people - their self-esteem.
