CLASP, in collaboration with National Center for Children in Poverty (NCCP), presents the report, "Investing in Young Children: A Fact Sheet on Early Care and Education Participation, Access, and Quality."

The report's findings include: Household economic privation is a factor linked with academic failure and poor health; young kids are underserved by the top 3 federal child care and early education programs; demand for Head Start has exceeded its growth; and child care and early education should be of high quality to be effective.
