Prudential Recognizes Outstanding Student Volunteers

D.C. students Sydney Kamen, of Georgetown Day School, and Maxine Bailey, of Holy Trinity School, have been granted a Prudential Spirit of Community Award along with 100 other civic-minded youth from each state.

The nationwide program honors students in grades 5-12 for their volunteer contributions in the community. Now in its 18th year, the awards program is run by the New Jersey-based Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
