UNESCO Integrates Preservation of World Heritage Sites for Sustainable Tourism

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) integrates a unique approach to improve the lives of locals and subdue poverty by promoting cultural heritage and sustainable development.

To further its plans for integrated development, a continental conference is geared for November 2015 in Bahir Dar to ensure an exchange of best practices and foster cooperation across countries and agencies in developing integrated management plans of UNESCO sites.
