Rental Housing Project Offers More Than Shelter To The Homeless


The $12 million, three-story Pescadero Lofts at 761 Pescadero St. housing project is designed to help the homeless get roofs over their heads in November.

The federal government and the the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara funded the project, which provides more than units; it will also feature on-site services, such as mental health, alcohol and drug addiction counseling, computer and financial literacy classes, as well as career and job training.
