Video Games: The Future of Mental Health Treatment?


A program that offers a unique approach to treating mental health is a collaborative effort from gaming technology experts and health researchers at the Center for BrainHealth at the University of Texas at Dallas.

These virtual reality training programs simulates daily experiences and social scenarios that are often difficult for those struggling with autism or anxiety disorders. The program at the Center enables users to train their responses and deal with specific situations to prepare for everyday life.
