ACA SHOP Exchange Development in Six States

Small Business Health Options Programs (SHOP) exchanges, as included in the Affordable Care Act (ACA), are designed to present government assistance and affordable coverage opportunities to small employers in and around the country.

SHOP exchange has been developing in six states, where it is meaning to tender employee choice in 2014. State officials tell that the biggest issue they face is employer education. They hope to reach out to small businesses to implement these efforts.
