A Conceptual Framework Can Get Kids to Eat More Vegetables


In a new study titled "Teaching Young Children a Theory of Nutrition: Conceptual Change and the Potential for Increased Vegetable Consumption", teaching young children an overarching, conceptual framework for nutrition may allow them to eat more vegetables.

This new approach, which appeared in the Association for Psychological Science (APS) journal Psychological Science, allows for a conceptual framework that coaches kids to have a better grip on why eating vegetables are good for them. This causes them to eat more vegetables by choice.
