OnTrak Community Initiative for Playing Truants

According to the Department of Education, the percentage of youth classified as "persistent absentees" or truants have dropped in recent years.

Thanks to a social enterprise model called OnTrak Community Initiative, truancy rates are lessened and helps drive youth back into learning. OnTrak Community initiative is Trust My Garage that has a live garage workshop and a community training project to aid estranged young people with practical hands-on mechanical training and other community initiatives.
