Philanthropy Chronicle Publishes 2012\'s Most Generous Donors

The Chronicle of Philanthropy releases its "50 Most Generous Donors of the Year" list for 2012. These donors have allocated $7.4 billion in total grants and funding of local nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, individuals and other philanthropic programs.

The 2012's list consists of donors specifically targeting colleges and universities for funding. The second target is funding for health care and medical research. The Chronicle of Philanthropy is a printed and online news source that connects all those involved in philanthropic initiatives.
