Stroke Patients Get Help from Latest Neurological Foundation Grant

The latest Neurological Foundation grants were awarded to drug therapy research projects in the University of Otago.

Nearly $390,000 grants were given to fund research in improving limb function post-stroke. According to foundation officials, "injuries to the brain after a stroke impaired cognition and behavior, typically with limited recovery". The disease is a major health concern among many New Zealanders.
