Missouri Foundation for Health grant program has chosen schools in Cabool to receive its 2013-14 $86,264 childhood obesity prevention grant.
The grant aims to provide a healthier environment for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, according to school superintendent Dr. Wes Davis. The grant will be used to employ a full-time wellness coordinator to analyze and review school menus and activities.
