Hormel Foundation Gives Out $6.1 Million in Grants


The Hormel Foundation, a Minnesota nonprofit, has approved $6.1 million in grants to be allocated in 2014 to several Austin-area organizations.

Hormel Institute, a well-esteemed cancer research center, is the main recipient of grant funds, as established by a 1942 agreement between the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota and The Hormel Foundation.
