AstraZeneca HealthCare Announces Grant of $209,523 to Palmetto Project

The AstraZeneca HealthCare Foundation’s Connections for Cardiovascular HealthSM program supports the Palmetto Project's Heart & Soul initiative with a total of $209,523 grants.

Heart & Soul seeks to enhance clinical indicators for metabolic syndrome among African-Americans at greatest risk for cardiovascular disease and stroke. The program serves 26 sites across Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, Colleton, Williamsburg, Marion, Clarendon and Georgetown counties.
