MIT Scientists Get NIH BRAIN Initiative Grants


The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded BRAIN Initiative grants to ix teams and 15 researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

President Obama launched the initiative in April 2013, which challenges the country's leading scientists to improve the understanding of the human mind and discover new ways to treat, prevent, and cure neurological disorders like Alzheimer's, schizophrenia, autism, and traumatic brain injury.
