Career Services Seeks Oklahoma Applicants For Work Youth Experience Program

Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. is offering high school seniors in the state a chance to work during the summer.

The Oklahoman reports the Cherokee Nation's Career Services Department is currently accepting applications from 16- to 24-year-olds for the Summer Youth Employment Program.

The program is designed to give high school seniors a taste of what it's like to work in the real world.

It's open to all members of the Cherokee Nation.
