If you're a social enterprise focused on improving the lives of people in your community, you may be in luck.
Ireland's Social Enterprise Development Fund is now accepting applications for its 2023 program, which aims to support "social enterprises that are focused on critical social change," per a press release.
"Social enterprises can lead the transition to a more inclusive, sustainable, and green economy," says the fund's CEO, Deirdre Mortell.
"Any profit made by a social enterprise is reinvested back into the organization's social or environmental mission, allowing it to maximize impact."
Ireland's SED Fund, which is funded by IPB Insurance and the Department of Rural and Community Development, is in its sixth year, per the Irish Times, and so far, it's given out more than $3 million to more than 30 social enterprises.
"The incredible impact achieved to date under the Fund is set to accelerate change into 2023 with new opportunities for social enterprises to solve critical issues, and improve the lives of people and communities," says Mortell.
The Guardian has compiled a list of responses to its latest open thread, and has announced the winner of the social enterprise gift hamper packed with presents.
