The Helena Area Community Foundation has awarded more than $72,000 in grants to 40 organizations in the Montana city, reports the Missoulian.
Among them: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Montana, which will use the money for a mentoring program for at-risk boys.
The foundation, which is affiliated with the state's Community Foundation for Western Montana, has awarded more than $1 million in grants in the past, the Missoulian notes.
