For more than 40 years, the Olga Loizon Memorial Foundation has helped female entrepreneurs in Michigan get their businesses off the ground with up to $10,000 in grants, the Detroit Free Press reports.

The foundation was started by the late Olga Loizon, who opened her first restaurant in Birmingham in the 1970s and went on to found the successful Olga's Kitchen chain.

"Where there's a will, there's a way," she would say, according to the foundation's website.

So far, the foundation has awarded $50,000 in grants to four women entrepreneurs, all of whom plan to use the money to expand or open new restaurants, the Free Press reports.

"Olga's legacy is a true testament to the power of unwavering dedication, ambition, and vision in achieving success," the foundation states.
