The World Defense Show is back in Saudi Arabia for the second year in a row, and this time around, the theme is "Equipped for the Future," reports the Arab News.
The show, which runs from Feb.
4 to 8 in Riyadh, will focus on five key domains: air, land, sea, space, and security.
"This development has become an integral aspect of every nation's defense strategy, fostering international discussion and collaboration," says Andrew Pearcey, CEO of the show's organizer, the General Authority for Military Industries.
Saudi Arabia, for instance, wants to localize half of its defense spending by 2030, says Pearcey, and the WDS pavilion will feature space-related topics such as "governance, technological development, and interoperability."
