If you're a patient at the University of Miami Health System, you'll soon be able to use your face to check in.

The hospital system is working with CLEAR, the company that powers facial recognition technology at the airport, to make it easier for patients to check in at its facilities, including urgent care centers, the Miami Herald reports.

The facial recognition kiosks are expected to roll out across the hospital system in the next few weeks.

The university showcased many other healthtech innovations at this year's e-Americas conference in Florida, including virtual reality to help patients feel like they're at the beach instead of in a hospital room during procedures to help reduce anxiety.
