Discover the Legacy of Innovation at Thomas Edison National Historical Park

The man who invented the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and the storage battery is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Thomas Edison, who died in 1931, is being honored with the star at a ceremony today at the Thomas Edison National Historical Park in West Orange, New Jersey.

The park is where the famous inventor lived and worked until his death, and it includes his laboratories, his personal library, and his mansion, Glenmont, where he married his bride in 1886.
