20MM Foundation Commends Senators New Legislative Effort

The 20 Million Minds Foundation, a nonprofit committed to bringing higher education into the digital age, commends Senators Dick Durbin (D-Illinois) and Al Franken (D-Minnesota) on their new legislative effort to expand the use of open textbooks in higher education to procure savings for students.

The Affordable College Textbook Act will help bolster several traditional state and local philanthropic efforts to render free open textbooks via national incentive grant program.
