California Healthcare Centers Gain $21.9 Million Grants


The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announces the distribution of $150 million in grants for health centers across the country.

California health centers will receive a slice of $21.9 million to assist US citizens in better understanding the new Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicaid and the Childrenís Health Insurance Program and determine their eligibility made available by the Affordable Care Act.

The Charities Aid Foundation has set up a scheme, called the Social Enterprise Assist, that will render interest-free loans of up to £10,000 each to help social enterprise start-ups.
