Does Workplace Flexibility Contribute to Moms Spending More Time With Their Kids?

A research published in the Journal of Marriage and Family evaluates workplace flexibility as a contributing factor in having mothers spend more time with their kids.

Researchers of the study introduced ROWE (Results Only Work Environment) in which employees are compensated for results and not hours. The results found that ROWE helped mothers "feel" they were spending enough time with their children, although it didn't change the actual amount of time for most parents, according to Rachelle Hill from the University of Minnesota.
