Children with Autism Benefit from High-Quality Early Intervention

In a study published in the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders, University of North Carolina's team of researchers discovered that preschoolers with autism who have received quality early intervention benefit developmentally despite of the treatment model used.

The findings are imperative for special-education programs and school classrooms nationwide, with each group of children displaying positive change in autism severity, communication and motor skills resulting from early intervention regardless of comprehensive treatment models.
