Honors College Should Require Service-Learning Courses


In The Crimson White's opinion column, John Brinkerhoff writes about requiring students to complete service-learning courses through a University Honors Program.

The program can include such courses into its required curriculum. It would also help to further the Honors College’s stated pillar of bolstering civic engagement. According to Brinkerhoff, Honors College students can get the most out of their higher education through service learning.
