Council on Foreign Relations' (CFR) new report finds lack of both investment and participation in pre-kindergarten in the United States.
However, despite of current investments in early education, the US falls short behind countries such as the UK, France, Germany, and Japan that enroll almost all 4-year-olds in preschool. The US still needs to meet the needs of young children by providing them high-quality early education opportunities.
