HHS Issues $12 Million ACA Funding to Support Health Centers Train Primary Care Providers


Health and Human Services (HHS) announces $12 million Affordable Care Act funds to help 32 Teaching Health Centers implement training in their primary care residency programs nationwide.

The funding will enable to train over 300 residents during the 2013-2014 academic year. The Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education Payment Program is created by the Affordable Care Act and administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
