New CoC VP to Focus More on Job Creation

Newly appointed Vice President of Chamber of Commerce (CoC) and Council for Economic Research at the Gainesville Area, Susan Davenport, seeks to create jobs while capitalizing on area strengths to become a hub for innovative businesses.

According to Davenport, she felt an underlying energy in the community that's intangible in ways. In here new position, she will recruit and promote new businesses, help these businesses expand, and help entrepreneurs start new companies.
