A new study, based on data gathered between 1991 and 2009 from individuals who participated in the Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey (MCBS), reveals that life expectancy has furthered for over two decades.
The findings show that people have become healthier and want to live longer. David Cutler, the Otto Eckstein Professor of Applied Economics who conducted the study, states that "people are much better educated about their health now."
