According to a study led by researchers at the University of Pittsburgh and Connecticut College, helping youth stay engaged in school is less likely to dropout.
The findings reveal that youths who are engaged with school feel more academically competent, feel more connected to the institution, and bring forth more positive reactions from the faculty and parents.The study appears in the journal Child Development.
