Access to Clean Water and Soap Improve Growth in Young Children


According to a study in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, high quality water and good hygienic practices can lead to improved growth among young kids.

The authors say that improving access to clean water and soap may increase height because of low microbiological and parasitic infestations in early childhood. These infestations can reduce or stunt growth.
