Celebrating World Breastfeeding Week


From August 1 – 7, 2013 marks World Breastfeeding Week. The week calls for moms, organizations and communities in support of breastfeeding and the benefits that come along with it.

The Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office on Women’s Health (OWH) and Office of Minority Health (OMH) also team up in celebrating this week and supporting women who want to breastfeed.
