According to a new study soon to appear in the Journal of Economic Psychology, San Francisco State University researchers delved into specific behaviors that lead to compulsive shopping.
The findings showcase shopaholics are addicted to buying stuff, regardless of whether they want or need them and ignoring their credit card bills. Compulsive shoppers are also prone to purchasing items to enhance their mood and self-esteem, the study reveals.
