The Philadelphia Foundation awards $25,000 grant to Good Samaritan Shelter (GSS) in Phoenixville to support its social enterprise program.
The grant will be used to employ the services of a consultant to conduct a feasibility study and develop a business scheme for a small business that GSS will run. The business aims to hire residents of the shelter, affording them a worthy job experience and income.
