Department of Human Services Partners with Neighborhood House to Urge SNAP Participation in Hmong and Latino Communities

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) teamed up with Neighborhood House to bring awareness about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and reach out to Hmong and Latino communities in Minnesota.

Neighborhood House has acquired a $20,000 grant from DHS to employ a Spanish-speaking family worker that will connect directly with Spanish-speaking, low-income families and enroll them into SNAP.
