Reuniting Kids and their Families Still No. 1 Goal


Thomas Pristow, director of Children and Family Services (CFS) for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, writes about improvement in the state of child welfare in Nebraska.

Pristow notes that the CFS continues to push efforts to reduce the number of children in out-of-home care. CFS's priority is still to have more children leave out-of-home care and return home safely to their families.
