Michigan residents are encouraged by the League for Public Policy to get in touch with their legislators to voice out their concerns about the nearing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) cuts.

Melissa Smith, with the Michigan League for Public Policy, observes that nonprofits and federal programs that sank the lowest during the recession have the farthest to climb back out and they still need help.
