Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University research team has learned that community-based pharmacies can be effective locations for offering rapid HIV diagnosing and testing.
The findings reveal that pharmacies can successfully enhance the existing healthcare system for HIV testing, especially in some of the lower-income communities. The study appears in the August edition of the journal AIDS Patient Care and STDs.
