Children Showing Low Conscientiousness Results to Adult Obesity

A longitudinal study found in the August issue of Health Psychology documents that children who display lower conscientiousness, such as irresponsible, careless, not persevering attitudes, could lead to adult obesity.

Sarah Hampson, Ph.D., and colleagues at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Health observes that childhood conscientiousness can affect adult health, with conscientious children healthier at midlife and living longer.
