State aid for child care has increased to assist parents and families in covering costs for the rising prices being charged for care.

According to Carol Cartledge, Department of Human Services' Economic Assistance Policy Division director, child care expenses can rake up a huge sum off of a family's income. Jennifer Barry, early childhood services administrator for the Department of Human Services states that they are encouraged by the recent child care support efforts.
