Young Beer Drinkers More Likely to Binge


Researchers from the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine at the University of Zurich and Lausanne University Hospital conducted a survey to learn about beverage preferences that results to drinking patterns and substance use behaviors.

The researchers' findings shed light on young men who prefer beer are more apt to be binge or volume drinkers. Besides having the preference for a specific alcohol drink, young men who binge-drink or drink frequently smoke cigarettes on a daily basis.
