Local Festival Signs Up Organ Transplant Donors


According to the US Department of Heath and Human Services (HHS), more than 20,000 Latinos across the country will be participating in a local festival to sign up as organ transplant donors.

In celebration of the National Minority Donor Awareness Month, the Washington Regional Transplant Community is scheduled to hold a Festival for Life, or Festival por la Vida at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring.
